Why are Filipinos suffering so much?

The Philippines has seen a record number of deaths from the coronavirus outbreak, with 1,100 deaths since the virus began, according to health officials.

That’s almost three times the total number of people who died in the country in 2013, the first year of the pandemic.

More:Philippines health officials say they’ve tested more than 5 million travelers and found a whopping 3,914 cases of coronaviruses, which are associated with the coronaval fever.

They’ve also identified a number of coronaval cases in travelers who are returning from countries where the virus has been circulating.
