Boracay: ‘A poor traveler’ in Bicol
Bicol’s president, Luiz Lula da Silva, is recovering from surgery and the death of his wife and three children after he was shot in the head by a Bicol policeman last week.
President Luiz Da Silva’s death was confirmed on Tuesday by his doctor.
President Lula has been in a critical condition in the hospital since Monday.
The president is in intensive care after being shot while visiting the Bicol region of the Philippines, according to a statement by his office.
President Dilma Rousseff has also been shot by police in the Bocas de Cobras neighborhood of Bocasin city, where she was working.
The bullet traveled through the wall of her home and struck her head, killing her instantly.
Her death was announced by the office of President Michel Temer.
President Rousseff, who had recently left her home in the southern city of Campinas to attend the funeral of her late husband and stepson, was taken to the hospital in the capital, Manila, on Tuesday.
Temer, who is facing impeachment, called for a special session of Congress to consider impeachment proceedings against Rousseff.
The impeachment is likely to be voted on next week.
Lula, a former bus driver, became president in 2013.
He won re-election in 2019, but lost the 2019 election to Temer after a corruption scandal erupted.
Temers successor, Vice President Jejomar Binay, has said he will serve until 2021.
Lulas impeachment could be a factor in Temer’s possible reelection, which he is likely going to try to win in 2018.
Lularas family is not among the members of the Bocaes family that voted for Temer to become president.
President Temer is a close ally of former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, who was impeached in 2016 on charges of abuse of office.
Lulas son, Rodrigo, was the first Bocaas family member to vote for Temers re-nomination in 2018, but he was unable to do so.
He is now a student at the University of the Americas in Bogota.
Lulu, the younger son of President Temers eldest daughter, was also a student when he was younger.
He has since graduated from the University.
President Rodrigo Duterte is currently in charge of the country’s affairs.
Duterte’s supporters say he has a clean image.
The opposition, however, says the president is a serial liar and a thug.
The President was a fugitive from justice for drug trafficking crimes in the Philippines.
He was sentenced to death in December 2016 for murder, but was later freed on bail.
President Duterte has also come under criticism from human rights groups for the use of extrajudicial killings and summary executions.
He also faced accusations of human rights violations over the killing of his critics, including rights lawyer Benhur Fernandez, who died in police custody in May.
Fernandez’s death led to widespread protests and the arrest of a number of other activists.
LULA’S FAMILY ON SURGERY, FAMILY SAYS President Lulis wife, Evelina Lula de Lima, and her children, Dede, Maria, and Maria Isabel, have been admitted to a hospital in Bogotá after receiving surgery for gunshot wounds.
They are now in intensive treatment.
President Manuel V. da Silva said in a statement that the president and his family have been taken to hospital after being hit by stray bullets.
President V. de Lima was shot by Bicol police at the Baccuayan area of Boca de Boca, the capital of Bicol province, on Wednesday, according the president’s office.
The police officer, Rodrigo Rojas, is currently on the run and is suspected of being a leader of the vigilante group Bocsabarang Ngayon.
The Bocsbars group has been responsible for killing dozens of people in recent months.
The country’s Attorney General’s Office is investigating the incident.
Lulo’s wife is recovering at a hospital after suffering from a gunshot wound in her head.
President Joseph Estrada said in an interview that Lula is recovering but that the President is expected to undergo surgery in the next few days.
President D.E. Roxas was shot dead in a car in Bocsa on Monday.
Roxa was among several political figures killed in an alleged attempt to overthrow President Temes administration.
President Roxas is the son of former president Gloria Macalayog, who came to power in 2001.
He led the opposition party, the Movement for Democratic Change, until he resigned in 2018 amid allegations of corruption.
His death was ruled a suicide, but President Temera has blamed the alleged assassin for his murder.
Temera is currently under house arrest and has yet to be charged in the murder of the former president.
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is investigating a possible extrajudicial killing of President Roxos widow,
